Tau Beta Sigma – Omicron’s main purpose is to serve. As such, we are constantly looking for new ways to provide service to the School of Music at the University of Utah.
Some ways that we have contributed up to this point are:
- Providing granola bars and water for the Pride of Utah Marching Band and the visiting team marching band at every home game.
- Organizing receptions and providing refreshments after instrumental music concerts.
- Carrying out the role of logistics crew for the Pride of Utah Marching Band.
- Helping to arrange and organize the music library in the University of Utah School of Music.
- Providing a pancake breakfast for the Pride of Utah Marching Band and potential high school recruits.
- Organizing fundraisers and purchasing a new fridge for the School of Music student kitchen.
- Providing a Thanksgiving dinner for band students that are unable to return home to their families.
