In addition to serving music ensembles at the University of Utah, Tau Beta Sigma – Omicron also works to help serve its surrounding community.
We have been involved in:
- Providing instrumental coaching in local band classrooms.
- Participating in the ‘Relay for Life’ fundraiser to help support the American Cancer Society.
- Organizing a food drive for a Thanksgiving food pantry.
- Providing Christmas presents for underprivileged children through the ‘Adopt an Angel’ program.
- Distributing water to participating marching bands at the Salt Lake City Days of ’47 Parade.
